Poppys Barn MANOR COURT, OVER HADDON, DERBYSHIRE

This pretty stone built cottage is to be found within a landscaped courtyard which it shares with other stylish cottages and barns. Located in the peaceful and picturesque village of Over Haddon it is within close proximity of the spectacular countryside that is Lathkil Dale, and only a few minutes walk from the famous Lathkill Hotel. Poppy’s Barn offers a wonderful base to explore the surrounding area – with spectacular views and glorious walks to pretty villages with fine pubs and good restaurants. Here you can find tranquillity and relaxation, and yet still be in the heart of the Peak with Bakewell only a couple of miles away.

Ground Floor:
You enter the cottage through an attractive lobby with floor to ceiling windows into a large beamed open plan LIVING AREA. This attractive room has two leather settees a two seater and a three seater, there is a farmhouse style pine dining table, and at the rear is the fully fitted Kitchen area with modern wooden units. The kitchen is very well equipped with electric oven gas hob and extractor unit, fridge/freezer, microwave and dish washer. You will find TV and DVD player and also a music centre for use during your stay. The Master bedroom is situated off the living area and is a DOUBLE BEDDED room furnished in chunky pine. The bathroom is also at the ground floor level and has a both with shower over, wash hand basin and toilet. There is also a downstairs cloakroom which is also where the freezer is stored

First Floor:
There are two sets of stairs leading up to the first floor. One takes you to a TWIN BEDROOM again tastefully furnished in chunky pine, and the other leads to a gallery which has a futon which can be used as a SINGLE BED.
All the furniture is by ‘Indigo’ which is one of the top 10 furniture shops in the UK according to ‘The Independent’.

Outside:
To the front of the cottage is a flagged patio area with a large garden dining table and six chairs for al fresco eating.

Duvets and linen provided. Gas fired central heating and power included. Oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, Colour TV, DVD Player, music centre, garden furniture.

Should you wish to book this cottage, ring up first to check availability, and then complete the attached booking form together with a deposit cheque of £100 per week made payable to ‘Beechwood Property Portfolio Limited’.

The balance is payable 6 weeks before the holiday. Once your booking form and cheque are received, your booking will be confirmed in writing.

Anyone cancelling within 6 weeks of the holiday will owe the full amount of the holiday unless we can relet the holiday, in which case the deposit only will be forfeited.
